School Quality Assurance Guidelines: Status of Implementation in Private Secondary Schools in Sumbawanga Municipality, Tanzania

School Quality Assurance Guidelines (SQAGs) were adopted in Tanzania as a lens through which the quality standards all aspects of school life would be monitored, assessed, evaluated and reported. This study sought to assess implementation assurance guidelines private secondary schools Sumbawanga Municipality. It was underpinned by Value-Added Theory Neil Smelser (1962). The guided two objectives: describe extent academic staff qualifications teaching abilities meet guidelines, facilities infrastructure schools. employed convergent parallel design under mixed research approach method. Sample sizes 94 participants involved including teachers, heads schools, Municipal Education Officer, Officers. Data gathered questionnaires, interview guides observation checklists. Quantitative data coded using descriptive statistics with support Statistical Package for Social Science version 21. Qualitative organized into themes analyzed thematically. results show that large met due infrastructures. Also, it revealed faced challenges such shortage funds, high taxes, inadequate number teachers- mention but few. recommended should more committed implementing developing plans programs develop generating income activities. Additionally, government provide subsides remedy enhance guidelines.
